Newby from UK with a great headache!

Hi all,
I'm new to the Mercedes forum. I've been a loyal SAAB customer for years having been in BMW/Audi before but with its demise I did the circuit of dealers and have fallen in love with Merc!
Last November I bought my wife a new ML350 CDI Sport to tackle the hard winter that was on its way (not one flake of snow!). I've been pretty impressed with her car and now its my turn to swap out my SAAB Aero and hence my nice headache.
I'm thinking of a CLS350CDi Sport, I test drove one a few weeks ago and was really impressed with its handling and despite being a sport, comfort. I'm looking to sell my car next week and so will be into the dealers next weekend to order my Mercedes. My question is about options?!

Are comfort ventilated seats worth having? Do they work?
I suffer from lower back pain, are the standard sports seats comfortable on a long trip?
Given that in 20 years of driving I have never hit anything whilst reverse parking, do I need a camera?
What 4/5 options do you think are essential?

I'd really appreciate some thoughts!
Thanks for taking the time to read this......

Welcome to Benzworld.

I'm very hot natured so I would go with the ventilated seats.
Seats in my C230 are comfortable but I've not been on any long trips yet.
My back up camera consists of me turning my neck and looking behind me. Has yet to fail me.
MB's come withso many standard features that options aren't that many. Don't know what's standard on yours but the things I would have added to mine would be:

Heated Seats.
