Angry Just bought a C180

Its my first time buying a Mercedes Benz. I thought about it for many months and finally settled for a cheap one. I knew it had a few problems with the rear suspension which my mechanic told me not to worry as it would be fixed with new parts. My main worry now that I did not pick when i tested the car is the slow changing of gears after a long drive. I drove on the motorway, when i took off at the toll gate the gears were very slow to change and i tried the tiptronic but again it did not respond. Has anyone ever had such a problem? Whats the solution?

Welcome to Benzworld.

Maybe your transmission overheats, I recommend to check its temperature and fault codes.

What year is the car? what is the mileage? has the transmission fluid ever been changed? and is the fluid level correct?

ERIC.
