Hola benzers! Yes I have just lost my Benz virginity...and I liked it! I have questions already so please keep in touch so I can learn frm the Benz Jedis. Just to dive right in...air intake, what's that all about? I am Jonah

Welcome. Check out the 126 specific section as that is the chassis number of your car. You'll have to expand more on your question about the air intake... but knowing that your engine's and mine have almost identical intakes, I can tell you there's not much room for improvement. Some do switch it out for a dual snorkel design, but from what I hear it provides zero improvement since your engine can only aspirate a certain amount of air anyways. There are mixed reviews on oil impregnated cotton filters. If you're looking for performance the best place to start is probably headers and exhaust, especially if your car is North American spec.
