Future ML350 Owner!

Hey BenzWorld folks,

Near owner of a 2012 ML350 BlueTEC. Ordered back in Nov 2011, and it was finally dropped off to the dealership last week! Now I'm taking care of the small details, finance, service options...you know the game.

Really looking forward to taking this baby on trips and seeing how far that Diesel will go before the need to refill the tank!

So, I wanted everyone's opinion on some of the service packages available and if any feel they are worth the $$.

First off, plan on keeping the ML for around 8-10 years, will probably put on 12k miles a year (more on the less side). With that in mind the service option that makes the most sense, Tier 2: for 6 yrs/75k miles $2400.00 (7/100 is around $4400.00!)

And the "First Class Wheel and Tire Plus" package, 60 months $1100 (This is being sold to me as, if you do "ANY" damage to the wheels and/or tires i.e potholes, sidewall damage etc.. They will replace at no fee, for the 60 months of the contract, *unlimited*) Thoughts on that one??

Welcome to the forum. I would probably take the service but pass on the tire package.
