Fair prices and miles on '99-02 E320 & E430

after driving my old '94 E320 wagon for 3 problem-free years, I'm thinking of trading it in for something a little newer. Locally, there currently are two E320's and one E430 for sale for about $8000 ea. Mileages on all are about 110,000 miles.
For the experts... is this a fair asking price? And is that sort of mileage significant for these vehicles? Go for it, or fix up the 94 wagon a little?
Thanks for any input!

I have a 2001 E320 and although it has had some minor problems it is in good shape right now with nearly 93,000 miles. I think you will find that a lot of owners of your vintage feel that the W124 was a better built car, so the choice is yours. As far as I know $8000 is a fair price for any of the cars you are considering. I would select the one that has the best documented service history, preferably a one owner, dealer serviced, with all of the documentation. And the E430 is a lot quicker, I had one before this E320 and wish I had one now. Good luck.

Hard to tell without seeing. Few members bought W210 for less than $2000. Sure they were not pristine, but after fixing this and that they still will ride for few more years.
I thing for $8000 I could find W211.

I would buy two E320's. Owning two cars would be doubling the life of one. For example, suppose one car lasts 3 years, two cars would last 6 years when you alternate them. When one car got problem, you use the other car as a reference to trouble shoot problems. But only buy two of the same model of different colors; silver and gold, or black and white. Otherwise you'll be confused on Saturday going on a date "Should I take her out in this silver Benz or the other silver?" And best of all, the license plate frame on both cars will read "My other car is a Mercedes."
Many many years ago, I heard the producer of Star Wars bought three NSX's in three different colors.
