I need an expert opinion:

CL 55 V8. If a large quantity of water was pumped into the fuel tank, and the driver was unaware and drove this vehicle:

Could enough water pass through the fuel injectors to cause engine damage ie hydrolock? Or am I correct in assuming that the water molecules could not pass through the injectors?

If water could pass through the injectors could it run long enough to do any damage?

Water likely will pass the injectors but in amount that will not become danger of hydro-lock. Still left alone can cost corrosion.
Did you stick garden hose into your tank? Or angry spouse?
