Question Interchanging rims from E to C class

Can anyone confirm if rims from 2003 E320 will fit 2001 C320. the width and offset are different.
E 8x16 / 39 offset
C7x16 / 37 offset

Yes ... with two caveats.

First, you'll have to run the stock C-size tire; the new wheel's inside edge will be about 1/3" closer to the suspension, so if you mount a wider tire, it will overhang more than that. You might get away with a 10mm wider tire, but that's probably it.

Second, you will have to use custom lug bolts, because the W211 wheel uses a 14M lug bolt with an R14 ball seat, and your W202 uses a 12M lug bolt with an R12 ball seat.

The proper lug bolt will be a R14x12Mx1.5x {26mm or 28mm length, whichever you can find}. usually has them for the best price.
