2005 MB E320 CDI leaky mirriors again

2005 MB E320 CDI Leaky mirrors again!!!

I got this car 1.5 years ago. It came with a bad driver's side mirror.

I had to replace it twice. The 2nd is a bad once again.

At first, each mirror "looked fine".
Then once you plug in the electrical, and power is applied
the mirror goes 'gooey'.

The 2nd used replacement mirror was all dark (blue) at first,
then went 'gooey' after a week...

I don't' understand? Is there any fix?

The cost of replacement is getting to be pretty painful.

Driving on Toronto's 401 (N. America's busiest highway) without proper
mirrors can be dangerous...(my neck is sore...lol)

Any ideas anyone?
