2002 S430 No crank
Hi to all, This is my first round on this forum. I have a 2002 S430. All was great until the connector on the 722.6 trans starting leaking. I pulled the car in the garage and all was fine. 2 days later I replaced the connector housing with new o-rings on the trans. Added 1/2 quart trans fluid, went to start car to check my work and the engine wont crank. The dash lights, shifter, fuel pump all come on, just will not crank. If you turn the key real fast to the start position it will engage the starter for a split second every other time. I'm wondering if I disturbed something at the wiring harness at the connector when I replaced the housing. Maybe the trans lock out wire broke ??? How dependent is the trans fuid level on the no start contact in the trans . Does it have to be within a certain range / level to allow the engine to start
Thanks for any help with this. Ken.
