2007 CLK 350

Update - I left the car at a Mercedes Dealership and explained the problem - going into neutral or limp mode from time to time after I had to come to a stop. Also explained that it is happening infrequently and 2 other mechanics were unable to get a code. I asked them to keep the car, let someone drive until they can get me a diagnosis. Two days later confirmed the problem as per diagnosis above with a $1390 cost estimate.
Thanks for the help

Today I discovered that my CLK-350 wouldn't start?? After checking a couple of things it seems to have been the negative side battery cable had quite a bit of corrosion on it. Tried cleaning it but still no start. Bought a new cable...installed it, charged the battery and the car cranked right up. However, ...NOW for some reason the back rear power windows no longer automatically "snug up" and lock to the front windows??? This was one of the coolest features about this car! I know that sounds silly...but every time I get out the car...I love hearing and "seeing" the back rear window automatically snug up to the front one when I close the door. For some reason they are not doing this now??? What could be causing this? I did have the battery disconnected for a few minutes while changing the cable. I of course had to reset the clock...but why are my back rear windows no longer locking into place when I exit the car?
