Hello eveyone, I will get my profile set up soon, I just need to ask a question to confirm a few things before purchasing my first MB hopefully this week.

I look forward to all the DIY information as well as dealing with all the experts on here as my mechanics don't like working on MB and the nearest dealers are over 100 miles away. I plan on doing a lot of the work myself as I am about a half arse mechanic.

Take care and keep smiling

Welcome. If there is anything I can do to help, let me know. I live in VA, now. But still spend a LOT of time in KY with my family.

I have been disappointed lately with the work of one local (well known) shop in Lexington. If I was going to have anything done I'd go to a shop in Frankfort (specializes in VW, the name is escaping me right now) or as far as dealers, I'd go to Larry Fannin in Ashland.

Good luck!
