Thumbs up New Forum member Second MB (WA)

Hi from Seattle,

I have been driving a 190e (1986) which I have owned for about 8 years and put about 60k miles on before it's unfortunate demise by engine failure.

My Wife has been hating the appearance of the car for a while (6 months) so I decided I could not sanely justify repairing it, and sent it up to Everett Auto wrecking who kindly paid me $200 and towed it from it's final resting place. It ran enough to drive onto the flatbed, which I found to be pretty sweet. The car was pretty much bulletproof and I enjoyed driving it a bunch.

For the last month I have been shopping for a replacement, and now I have one.

I just purchased a 1999 e320 4matic wagon with 105K miles. The previous owner had some kind of dog or dogs, but I am working on cleaning that up, and the car actually looks excellent in and out. Also, it's the sweet red/maroon color which I like, as I am bored by all of those sliver/black/white cars out there.

I am going to be working through the laundry list of issues to make the car prefect (ha!) so I will need your help!

Firstly, I am in need of a set of 3 headrests for the rear seat. I think they might still be living in the previous owners garage, so that sucks.

I will start a new thread or two soon I swear.

Also, I am previously a usnet mercedes guy, but the damn comcast people don't support it anymore. Sheesh!
