Alignment Problem on 300TE and 300D

Hello, we've just purchased a 1992 300TE wagon (200,000 miles) to join our 1983 300D Turbo (300,000). My husband is a mechanic at Goodyear and took the car in today to have new tires put on, balanced, and aligned.

The 300TE pulled a little to the right before the alignment, and still pulls to the right after aligning. The steering wheel also does not sit straight when you are driving straight down the road, you have to keep it turned slightly to the left.

Interestingly enough, we have the exact same problem with our 300D.

Is there something special about Mercedes alignments that my husband needs to know to get both of these cars aligned correctly? He did notice that the sway arm bushing needs to be replaced in the 300TE, but that does not apply to the 300D.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Can you clarify whether the cars were aligned to specs, but the symptoms persisted or can he not get the alignment to go within specs?

The cars were successfully aligned to specs, but both still pull to the right.

Ever figure out the issue?

Give it a +1 on the right camber? (I've read that works, since shops try to spec it in the middle)
Or maybe it was a rear arm bushing???

My 300TE 4MATIC is doing that, though I figure it might be the warn out tires.
Before I give it an alignment, and/or mount new tires, I will wear down the old tires first.
