Hi all,

Turned to you all in times of need! I've owned my 1999, C220 cdi estate for 3 years now, 2 previous owners, Cpt James. T. Kirk being the last so its racked up the miles, i bought it at 230k and have since put another 50k on it. All the car i've ever wanted, its well past its prime but still going strong (ish, see my post on current problem), diesel, automatic, estate, perfect. I love everything about the car, it still feels tight, goes like a train when you want it too, the seating position was strange to me when i first bought it, but now everything else seems un-natural. The bodywork was now covered in armour-eating termite, far too many to bother actually resolving so they'll just slowly finish the car off, though at the rate they're going it will take them a while. Interior still looks like new when i do get around to cleaning it, i think the only thing i would replace it with would be another one!... possibly an E-class estate, though we'll see what the pennies come to when it is time to replace.

Hopefully i won't be bothering you too much in the (many) years to come... fingers crossed.
