What do you guys think is the most desirable diesel model that Mercedes-Benz had made since 1980?

Some models that were sold in 1980 were actually introduced before then, including:
240D (W123 series) (1977-1983) (OM616.912 2.4L I-4 D)
300D (W123 series) (1977-1981) (OM617.912 3.0L I-5 D)
300TD (W123 series) (1979-1980) (OM617.912 3.0L I-5 D)
300CD (W123 series) (1978-1981) (OM617.912 3.0L I-5 D)
300SD Turbo Diesel (W116 series) (1978-1980) (OM617.950 3.0L I-5 TD)

Post-1980, until the Clinton administration:
190D 2.2 (W201 series) (1984-1986) (2.2L I-4 D)
190D 2.5 (W201 series) (1987-1991) (OM602.912 2.5L I-5 D)
190D 2.5 Turbo Diesel (W201 series) (1987) (OM602.962 2.5L I-5 TD)
300D and 300CD Turbo Diesel (W123 series) (1982-1985) (OM617.952 3.0L I-5 TD)
300D Turbo Diesel (W124 series) (1986-1987) (OM603.962 3.0L I-6 TD)
300D 2.5 Turbo Diesel (W124 series) (1990-1993) (OM602.962 2.5L I-5 TD)
300TD Turbo Diesel (W123 series) (1981-1985) (OM617.952 3.0L I-5 TD)
300TD Turbo Diesel (W124 series) (1987) (OM603.962 3.0L I-6 TD)
300SD Turbo Diesel (W126 series) (1981-1985) (OM617.951 3.0L I-5 TD)
300SDL Turbo Diesel (W126 series) (1986-1987) (OM603.961 3.0L I-6 TD)
350SD Turbo Diesel (W126 series) (1991) (OM603.971 3.5L I-6 TD)
350SD Turbo Diesel (W140 series) (1992-1993) (OM603.971 3.5L I-6 TD)
350SDL Turbo Diesel (W126 series) (1990-1991) (OM603.971 3.5L I-6 TD)

Which of the above would you consider to be most desirable today? I have no argument that the W116 and early W126 S-series (with the OM617.95x diesel) and the W123 "E-series" (which was not actually referred to as such until 1994) diesels (the 300 series) are my favorites. A lot of people put down the OM60x series engines in sort of the same way many (but not all) of us dislike the Oldsmobile 5.7 diesel V8 of the late 1970s-early 1980s.
