04 Mercedes Benz E320 4Matic

The end of Sept. the car"s battery was replaced. The beginning of October we had the same problem as before: No crank, no start, able to jump with same error messages as last time. The battery protection was not enabled, analog clock spins around, and and an headlamp object error. Mechanic found no draws on battery although, he did replace with another new battery. November same problem. Took the car to the M.B. dealer. They believed the draw was from the seat controllers and replaced them. Beginning of Dec. Problem still occuring - going out to start the car and the battery is dead. This time the tech charged the battery and the car sat for four days with no draining of system. Garage unable to diagnose problem. Mid-Dec. We have had the car back for five days. We're parking outside thinking possibly the smart key might be starting something electronic in the car. Our room sits above the garage. This a.m., I went out to start the car and got the error message that the Battery convenience options were not enabled. The car started, I ran errands, came home, the car sat, went out to start it and the error message was no longer there. Please help. Besides costing an arm and a long, we no longer have a car we can trust to start. Thanks

Welcome to the forum.
Intermediate electrical draws can be nightmare to find, so be patient.
On last issue, sounds like the battery went low, but still good enough to start the engine. Once the alternator recharged the battery, the errors cleared.
For starters -at the end of the day I would observe if the car goes to sleep in proper time. Usually after about 20 seconds all the cluster displays go out. If they stay longer, something on the car is still working. It could be bad door switch, or on computerized car one of 1000 sensors. Next step, hoping the draw is present would be pulling the fuses. Good luck.

Battery dead now my car is not starting via push button

Classic scenario, went to eat dinner and valet turned the lights to on position..of course I didn't realize until the next morning and battery is dead and car was alarming. Jumped the battery and could not get key to work until I took negative cable off terminal and placed back on. Systems are okay except for whatever reason the car will not allow me to use the push to start on the shifter...instead I get an alarm on the dash which also tells me I must put my car in park or neutral......PLEASE help! I have researched and am at such a loss
