I live in Cape Town, South Africa. In August I bought my wife a 2009 CLC 200 Kompressor (to replace her aging 3.3L Chrysler Voyager). She is very happy with the CLC200, after moaning about the Voyager being way too big for everyday driving. The Voyager is a great car for going on holiday, but a bit bulky for popping down to the shops, plus the bigger kids have their own cars now, so all those seats aren't needed.
Anyway, I have just bought myself a late 2006 CLC 550 with 40k miles for the equivalent of $40k and I am glad that I did. I have been looking for a V8 automatic, daily driver for some time and this car fitted the bill perfectly.
What a pleasure to drive in traffic! A super smooth & comfortable ride, with plenty of power & all the bells & whistles. I just need a bluetooth adapter and I'll be sorted (which was how I found this site in the 1st place).
I'm a bit of a car nut, and like to know everything about the cars that I own & drive, so I joined the forum, as there seems to be a vast amount of knowledge here.
