Hi All...

Hi guys,

Taken in a second hand W210 E200 year 2000. Had been using it for daily ride since early november... great car for a 10 years old.

Now I know, why once you drive a merc.. you never want to derive another car....

On the battery thing, which battery, car or key battery and changed for new or second hand? Also why did you change it?

Has it ever worked with this car? Are you sure it is the original key?

Hello all. Looking for some insight. . . I am the new owner of an 85 380SL (automatic) I will post pics soon. It is quite clean, though there is still work to do.

I am wondering if there are known issues regarding shifting out of first gear. The car seems to take a long time to shift from one gear to the next. I actually have found myself looking for the sweet spot right before the gear feels like it is going to change, then I'll let off of the gas a little to avoid grinding the transmission. Is this an adjustment issue? I have checked my fluid levels and I was about a 1/2 quart low. (transmission and oil). This didn't seem to cause this problem. (I remember when I learned to drive a stick as a kid, the rule of thumb was it should take about half a block for the transmission to be ready to shift).

Thanks!
