Hi all, greetings from a new '91 300E owner in Calgary.

Just bought this car as a learner for my wife since she won't drive my '07 Mustang (standard). For the price - $2500 - it seemed like a safer, more reliable choice than any American or Japanese cars in that price range. 211,000 km on the clock (~132,000 miles) but the maintenance records only cover it's first 10 years so I was pretty sure some issues were going to appear.

I'm currently working on a power steering leak, trying to trace down a few electrical gremlins, and looking for a vacuum leak that's making the central door locks a bit unreliable.

Reading this board has been very helpful so far, and I though it only polite to introduce myself after lurking a few weeks. No doubt I'll have some questions as I delve into these projects. My concern is that I might just get attached to it and spend lots of time and money on a supposedly 'temporary' vehicle

thanks in advance.
