Cheers, Mark!
Welcome to the forum!
You would be best advised to take this question over to the appropriate forum (107) and fill out all your info, take some pics of what you're looking at and ask the question again.
I've heard of this but don't know if anyone has/had one.

"If you don't know what you're looking for it's kind of hard to find it!"

If it helps America through it's current crisis, I say go ahead! We can take it, after all we're Canadian!

Blame Canada!!

Can help you only with general knowledge.
Hydraulic fluids are pretty tolerant to different formulas and you don't have to be very picky choosing one. Even cooking oil would work, but the best common fluid would be ATF.
Typical hydraulic oils are pretty aggressive and require different hoses.
I will not even dispute that the fluids from 1972 no longer exist.
