Post 1984 380 SE

Hello,

I bought a 1984 380 SE on a whim a couple months back. Have only driven it once, to get it home and into my garage. I have never owned a Benz before and have lots of questions....1) how do I use the keys to open the doors/gas tank; 2) where is a good place to get a replacement front window. I thoroughly look forward to working on this car and I'm not a mechanic. Any advice, support is greatly appreciated.

J

Welcome to BenzWorld, jrouane,

You'll find rich advice and resources relating to your car in the w126 chassis section:
W126 S,SE,SEC,SEL,SD,SDL Class - Benzworld.org - Mercedes-Benz Discussion Forum

Be sure to fill in your profile with your location and car model to receive accurate responses.

Your car should be equipped with a central lock; turning the key left will open everything, considering all the vacuum lines are operational.

For windows, try ebay or a nearby junkyard. Again, you might find what you need in the for sale section in the w126 sub-forums.

Good luck!
