Glass Identification

My wifes C180K recently had a altercation with a falling tree while parked in our driveway. The tree completly shattered the rear window and badly scratched the car. The car is now repaired but the New rear window looks like it has no tint while the side windows are the normal green heat absorbing glass. I asked to see the invoice from the Stealer who supplied the part to check if the part Number supplied was correct by checking that against EPC. and the part No was correct. However I have no way of checking if the part delivered is correct as the ID on the part does not correspond to the MB Part No and the other windows also have numbers that do not correspond to MB numbers.

My question is; does anyone know how to check the identification Numbers etc printed on the window itself against the MB Part No.

I have not yet coughed up the excess to be paid as the repairer is still trying to get the Radio to work properly, so I have a couple of days to determine if there is a problem, therefore a fast response would be greatly appreciated.

The MB part number must be printed on a genuine part. Perhaps it is not always visible after installation, I forgot to have a look at my car if it has visible MB part numbers.

Genuine MB glass has the star emblem on it and there should be a part number near that. On my car and facing the car from the rear, these are in the lower left corner right above the tint.
