2006 SL 55 AMG Problem

My customer has a 2006 SL55 AMG and his panel says intorior accessories not avalible.

His steering wheel wont adjust and his seat wont adjust. He tried replacing the fuse because it burnt out and it worked agian for awhil longer then stopped working agian and this time the fuse is ok.

What might cause this?

I will be checking car out for the next two days to see what electrical is causing it, have not had a chance to get to this car yet. Just curius if there is a TSB or maybe this was a common problem, or someone else here had the same problem.

This is normally the rear battery to low in voltage,, if this battery drops below 11.75 volts the consumers will be turned off

television's post is correct. It shuts off consumers so it doesn't waste power. Once the battery has charged up again the consumers will come back on once there is sufficient voltage.

Question 2006 sl 55 rear battery low

I have the same problem, you can access the rear by taking the long narrow silver part of your key off and sticking it in the lock ,its under there by the license plate light or something, it turns like a regular car lock. the battery is under a thin wood cover. My question is it costs $150.00 for replacement with vent tube . from interstate batteries. recommended replacement. However a sealed battery is better ,I think, ....costs a little more but no tube................. is this o.k. to replace this way
