Is this the transmission Vacuum modulator and if so..
how does one take this off to turn it to adjust the intensity of shifts?
I ask because from what I have read there is a small rubber cap that comes off but I dont see one here? Also this unit can be turned 180 degrees counter clock wise but that is it, no more no less and cant be turned clockwise.
I cant seem to get the answer about this part that would help me understand things better.
I have a 1995 E300D which is having extreme hard shifts especially at slower speed.
I previously cleaned out the intakee manifold and also disconnected the egr system via BB's in the lines.
I know some people will OK right there is the problem. I may agree but the car ran and shifted well for a few days then one day the horribly hard shifting arose its nasty head!
