Many thanks if it is possible!

Cheers.
Either the vin is wrong or the car may be too new for my copy of EPC, what year is the car?

ERIC.

Thanks for the speedy reply.

It is a 2012 E350 Blue Efficiency, preowned. Advertised as an Avantgarde but couple of unusual aspects are making me think a bit more.
The original tax invoice from the MB dealership had it as an Elegance model. When I raised a query, they said it was a typo and changed the invoice to Avantgarde.
The car comes with 17" alloys, standard for an Elegance model rather than the 18" of the Avantgarde. The salespersons said it was the preference of the previous owner to have a softer ride on smaller alloys/"bigger tyres".

It is expected to be delivered next week.

I was hoping the VIN check might clarify issues.

I have rechecked the VIN to make sure it is correct and it is.

Cheers,
Chin

Yes it is too new for me to decode but the PO may indeed have asked for different sized wheels. There is an American site that could be used to check this but you need a US address and you are in Australia, still here it is and good luck;
EPC-net Online

Thanks for trying Eric.

I am trying to get the dealership to provide the info. It is rather interesting that the sales people talk to you constantly before the sale but are slow to respond after the sale.

Thanks for the link.

Cheers,

The US EPC shows it as having the Avantgarde equipment package. It also shows the 18-inch Avantgarde wheels.

And just about every available option, too. Man, that car is loaded. Sounds like you'll enjoy it.

Thanks Jaymaynard. That is a relief to know. The salesperson indicated that the wheels were changed to the 17" alloys for a softer ride.

Thumbs up from me too!

I can't seem to get the datacard info out of EPC and onto the clipboard like others can. lglitt, what do you need to know?

Edit: PDFCreator to the rescue. Printed the datacard to PDF. Here you go.
