Post 1989 Mercedes 300CE shifting/accelerating problems

Over the last few years i have had a problem with my 300CE that for the life of me i haven't been able to figure out the cause.

The problem is that when I'm accelerating quickly and my car reaches 4000RPM's it will start violently shaking back, and forth it will not allow me to shift until i release the gas. Basically i need to keep it bellow 4k RPM's or i feel like the car is going to pull itself apart.

My car shifts fine if i don't floor it to the ground(also the only time it gets to 4k rpm) but i still would like to figure out whats causing the problem so i can fix it. I have replaced the fuel pumps, transmission fluid is fine, along with i believe the transmission. Any help is appreciated thanks so much in advance.

re

Under the car in the back. There will be a black cover over it and the fuel pump.

Left side of the transmission. The symptoms point to either it being faulty or the vacuum line going to it being damaged.
