$450 to replace 4 lower arm control bushing? Is that fair? Is it really a 6 hour job?

My car has been making weird noises especially when I turn. The guy said it was 4 loower control arm bushings that need to be replaced and he lifted up my car and showed me the parts that were worn; the rubber parts were all gone.

He said that I needed 4 lower control arm bushings replaced.
Parts for the 4 parts was quoted at $120 and labor would be $320. He claimed that it's a six hour job. Is this right? Is this a fair price?

He said afterwards I also would need to get my alignment fixed somewhere else.

Total price (excluding alignment) at his shop would be $450. Does that sound about right? Is it really a 6 hour job?

Where is the star time guide? Link?

What tools are needed?

Am I being ripped off or is that a fair price?

$320 for a six-hour job is very reasonable, considering that the dealer (who uses the star guide) would charge you $350 or more for a three-and-a-half-hour one. So, you tell me which is the ripoff.

I read some older topics about this and some guy said it took the dealer 6 ours because they couldn't get the old bushings out? I guess the 6 hours is the worst case scenario?

I called him again and he claimed 6 hours was for the total repair which includes alignment which he doesn't do; it would go to a diff place for that...

So he is charging me $320 for 4 hours of labor. He claims it takes 4 hours... to change out the bushings...
