New C Coupe

Maybe I don't know how to look, I cannot find anything in this forum on the new C Coupe.

Sure some of you have questions or opinions on this coupe...

This request is a little vague, can you give more detailed information on the car?

ERIC.

How did you make the decision to buy the C250 Coupe?
Was there any struggle to choose between the C250 Coupe, C350 Coupe and E Coupe?

Coming from a CLK320, I have a hard time to decide.

I was lucky enough to get a special deal from dealer at the last day of the month. I picked fully loaded c250 because it has a better mpg than c350 or e class. It was either fully loaded c250 basic c350 or basic e350
i decided to go for fully loaded because i just love all the extra features plus i get to save for money on gas. Even tho it has a 4 cylinder engine i would say it has a lot of power thanks to the turbo it has. The c350 is underpowered in my opinion... and basic coupe doesnt have any cool stuff in it and mpg is horrible on c350...
i didnt like e class because it is more of a luxury family car. C250 is really sporty! it has an amg steering wheel amg brakes racing seats sport suspension etc... while e class has nothing its just a luxury sedan. I just love how my car drives and handles well. It really feels like a sport car
It really depends on what you want and what you can afford
c350 is more expensive to insure its considered a sport car since it has a v6 while v4 is not a sport car
if you have family or ur going to trasnport lots of goods and want comfortable smooth quite ride go for e class
my dad has one and i dont like it
e350 doesnt feel right to me it shifts weirdly the gear shifter is on the steering wheel but i like the way it looks.
So long story short it depends on you, what are you into go look at all of them and compare feel it from inside seat in it drive it
Hope i helped you somehow good luck

I am concerned that the possible turbo lag in the new turbo engine.

Coming from a CLK320, I prefer the E Coupe. Hope the new 7G-Plus transmission will be better.

BTW. How is the fuel economy of your C250?

I havent had any problems with a turbo yet, the only thing i dont like so far is that when i floor it, the car starts to pull after reaching at least 2-3k rpm
thats when the torque kicks in but lower rpms have no power
other wise engine is pretty powerful if u put it on sport mode and shift gears urself its damn fast.
i havent had a chance to check out 3 coupe but im pretty sure its more expensive and doesnt have any sporty things in it like c coupe does
e coupe is too luxury
My mpg is real good, id say i prolly get 18-19 in city if i drive normally but when u go sport mode mpg drops obviously
u should drive it and feel the engine on it
the new tranny is amazing, shifts so smoothly and has perfect gear ratios

Turbo on most Benz is designed to kick in at about 2k rpm so nothing new here. How on earth would you expect a turbo to kick in at less than 2K? pray tell.

ERIC.
