Mechanical key and alarm

when I jog in a local park, i like to take the mechanical key and lock the electronic key inside. When I open the door with mechanical key, the alarm goes off and it is very annoying. Is there a way that the alarm doesn't go off? thanks!

I was trying to do the same thing going to the beach, but turned out my cylinder lock on the trunk was frozen from no use and I didn't want to leave electronic key inside the cabin. The trunk lock has the option of being double locked, when the blade key comes out in horizontal position and only the blade key can open it after.
Anyway, from what I read the alarm is activated only by the remote. Meaning if you lock the car with mechanical key, the alarm should not come on. Than if it does, putting the key into ignition, or pushing the open button on the remote should quiet it.
Knowing the year and model would be nice, but start with reading the manual since MB likes to change those systems from year to year without a notice.
