new member, authorized dealer maintenance

Hi, I'm a new member who purchased a c280 sport from a friend, he did not keep the scheduled dealer maintenace upto date. the previous owner had completed the scheduled maintenace. i am wondering if it would be advisable to have the maintenance done at a dealership or at a reputable privately owned garage. i can't say enough about my c280, 190k miles on her and she is way better than a new american made car.

Find the proper C-Class forum and ask the members (actual owners) there. Overall, you'll be better off using a private garage and learning how to do the few simple things yourself. Good luck.
