MB gearbox compatibility
Okay, so don't ask me why...
What front-wheel drive manual gearbox would bolt onto the C220 CDI engine? Would the B-class turbodiesel's manual 'box work?
And which of the V8 gearboxes from the W126 was also used on any of the inline 6's? I can't find any info on this?
I also see that the six-speed manual from the W203/W204 doesn't have levers on the outside like the W124/W201 'boxes. Or am I mistaken?
No, I'm not planning anything, just trying to get information which might come in handy.
