190E Lorinser 2.3 M104 3.2 5 Speed conversion. 4000 rpm limiter..... pics attatched
Looking for some help hopefully on a m104 3.2 conversion i have been working on, I have most of it done, and it is running and driving, installed I have an 1997 S320 engine, engine # 104-994-12-075-228 with a 300e 5 speed manual transmission attached. I have used the original wiring and boxes.
I need help with first a possible method of overriding the park neutral 4,000 RPM limiter that was im assuming originally to prevent over revving the torque converter. also how does this system work? what does it shut off to limit the engine?
and second best ways to wire up my rpm gauge. any one have a pin out of the original s320 cluster connectors? or recommendations for other ways to wire one up?
any help would be great. thanks.
