SRS Light on

Can anybody tell me how to reset the srs light on my 94 s500. Im not sure if it will pass my state inspection with that light on and was wondering if there was an easy way to reset it. Thanks

Most often the easiest way to reset the SRS light is to fix the SRS system first and if needed, reset the fault codes with the Star Diagnosis tool.

You do not mention if you have worked with the car, perhaps disconnected SRS components and switched ignition on? In this case a reset with Star would be sufficient (once you have reconnected all components).

Some times this is caused by the drivers side seat belt not registering. Check with your dealer, if it`s a belt problem it is covered under a warranty that they won`t advise you about.
