"new to me" 107!

Hi,

I've just acquired my mother's '88 560SL. I know there are a lot of garage queens out there, mine is not totally unique, but pretty special - it has 17,100 original miles.

It's been stored inside, covered and rarely driven since purchased new in 12/87.

I have every factory hang-tag from the interior, every manual, original window sticker, delivery checklist, even every registration since new. My parents also kept the original sales brochure in a file cabinet for the last 24 years.

After replacing the battery and oil, it fired up in less than 2 seconds of cranking.

I've got a long list of question that I'll save for another post/location. But I wanted to introduce myself, and say "Thanks!" for all the info that I've read on the site so far.

Sincerely,

Matt

Welcome to the forum, Matt!
Sounds like you have a gem, why don't you slide over to the 107 section and meet the crew? Btw, take some pictures of the car and post them over there. They all love pictures...
