sl500 lumbar not working

Just got my 2004 sl500 out of the repair shop. They replaced the PSE pump and trunk lock mechanism due to the soft close not working. Prior to bringing the vehicle in the lumbar worked on both seats, however, it is not working now. Brought it back and they are trying to say it is unrelated--they allegedly checked the fuse and areas that they worked in and as a result they said I need to make a new appoint for the repairs. I am quite confident that it has something to do with the work they performed--I looked at the pump and did not see anything disconnected. The lumbar dial for both seats does nothing at all. It's almost as if they are both completely disconnected. I was unable to locate a fuse on the diagram for the lumbar so I have no idea which fuse to check. Any help would be appreciated.

If the workshop only changed the PSE pump and the trunk lock mechanism, they might have version coded the PSE unit incorrectly. The PSE unit has a setting for the multicontour backrest or the lumbar support, perhaps this was incorrectly coded.

Thank you. I will see if the dealer is willing to check the coding on the PSE.
