Window wont work

2003 ML320 window problem. Problem is rear window not going back up. Switch, motor, or regulator (or the part that goes from motor to glass)? Here is what mine is doing and how it started. I started to roll down my windows when one of the rear windows seemed stuck and made strange noise and then when down some, then pushed switch to make it go back up. Didn't go up. Now neither. Went around and used switch in back of console in back seat ---same thing. Now here is what i have not found in reading others posts. With my hands I can easily push the window back up or for that matter can push down. Feels as though nothing much is holding it up. Drove about a mile and the window slipped down about 3 inches. So now taped it closed so it will not just slip down. Any input as what part has failed, easy fixes (has to add that) or if it has came out of some track or whatever has caused this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
