Valve cover gasket

I need to replace one of them on the clk320 V6 however I'm unsure as to which gasket is for left or right side.

Should I be looking while facing the car (then its left) or while sitting in the car (then its right).

Thanks

Take a look at what the exploded view of the Parts Department show.

A car would show appreciation for preventive maintenance by never leaving his owner stranded.

Defensive Driving is never having to say you're sorry: a true love story between man and machine.

Driver's side is left. However, I would advise you to replace them both, if one is leaking, odds are the other one is not far behind.

When MB parts are described as left/right, it is always from the driver's POV.
