On a Carburator if there are no leaks and you spray that stuff on it nothing will happen but if there is a leak or suction and you spray it then only then the engine would change it's idle ,have you check't all your sparkplugs and ignition points etc ? If for example you loose power going up hills and sputters it indactes that one ( or more) plug ht leads wire might be faulty .
the MAF is VDO/Siemens (no bosch for M271 engines) and bought from germany siemens and changed it literally 6 times insisting on the P0102 being their MAF they were very helpful and sending me new ones though they are sure its not their MAF.
I put my hand on the air entrance hole before the air filter, I cant feel its sucking my hand at all! I doubt if it suck air at all (confused)! but how the car is running if i cant feel sucking air! - oh yeah, when i press on pedal, i can head a new "wizzz" noise! I sprayd carb cleaner around all hoses but in vain.. no leaks.. unless the spray way is not valid way..
The car goes again to normal temp (80 until 93 in traffic).. but car went to close loop at 60c and then 5 mins later closed loop - fault <-- does that mean anything?
if i run the car and drive harshly, the maf values change as per my pedal press normal and reaches max 156g/s at full wot dont know what gear (automatic).. and then when it idles back (on D or P) it goes back to 2.6 g/s and then the issue of high idle appears if on P (it raise and stay at 1.2k until i put D or turn on a/c or turn off the car and run it again)..
PS. LTFT is 12.5% and STFT sometimes 25% and the lowest for it was -17.5%
spark plugs new, air filter is new, car is less than 40k one owner.. everything looks glowy! only thing i didnt change is fuel filter (though i use cleanest fuel from only one gas station)
