It probably needs something to be reset, though I am unfamiliar with your model. The W204 C-Class Discussion Forum is where you'll find expertise on this. Searching the W204 forum first, before posting a question, is the best strategy as there are really few new questions even on relatively recent cars.

Please take a few moments to complete your profile--including year, model and location. That information can be very useful to those who might be inclined to offer you help. It's even happened that members have come to offer hands on assistance!

Good luck; I'm sure there will be a simple solution.

I assume that you were handed a Service Handbook and an Owner's Handbook when you bought your car recently.

What does the Service Handbook record about the last service on your car?
What does the Owner's Handbook say about resetting the service mileage?

Most of us do it ourselves. You can probably get rid of the message by pressing the reset button, but the service reset will be a more complicated routine.
