Transmission jerks from Park to drive

Hello, I drive a C230, 2006 with 46K miles. Lately I have been experiencing a slight jerk when I shift from park to drive or park to reverse. It overrides the brakes and I feel a hard jerk.
Sometimes when i accelerate when I take off I feel a jerk while it shifts from 1 to 2. After that everything is fine. No decrease in power.
Never done any transmission work. No transmission fluid changes have been done.
I m beginning to worry that this might be the beginning of a major repair.
Any help or response is appreciated.
Thank you.

Oops did I just post in the wrong forum??
