Electric supercharger

I'm just wondering if this actually works or if it's just total BS?

Mercedes Supercharger - Electric 2.5 PSI Complete Kit [Mercedes Supercharger] : Mercedes Benz Wheel | Mercedes Wheels | Headlights Tail Lights Grilles

anyone who has any experience with this?

Its total BS. Doesn't take any experience, the simple physics of the problem is enough.

As a ball figure, you should use at around 15% of the gained power to compress the air.

40-60 hp gain will then require 6-9 hp or 4-6 kW (300-500 amperes at 12V).

An electric motor at the size shown may provide maximum 3-400W. Even if it could provide the power required, where would you get that electric power from?

It will undoubtly provide a little gain, say 2-3 hp with a 2-300 W electric motor (then do not use the headlight at the same time).
