W211 E320 V6 Petrol Air Con Pump

Hi all,

I own a 2003 W211 E Class V6 Petrol and the Air-Con pump has always had a "Whirring" noise coming from it. I know this to my expense as everything else has been changed. I've recently fitted a smaller belt and by-passed the pump and hey presto no noise (wish I'd done this first). I want to go to my local Mercedes breakers and get one off the shelf but don't know the original part number and the only way he can say if he's got one is for me to take mine in. As mine isn't broken yet I'm a bit reluctant to remove it only to find out that he hasn't got one. Does any one know where I can get the original part number for this pump. The unit is a Denso one with the identification 7SEU17C on it. Thanks.

Cool Try this

Go to MB and get a can of mb compressor oil, use a fill device and eye dropper to inject about an oz of oil in the system.
Hope that works.

Denso compressor 7SEU17C is also widely used on Audi, VW, and Skoda models. You do not have to go to your MB dealership for this item.
