Post Hello!

He y'all!
I just recently bought an 2006 E320 CDI. It's my first MB and also my first diesel. I knew the owner of the car I bought it from. He's an engineer from Texas Tech and the car has been perfectly maintained and documented. It has 150k miles on it and 130k of it is highway miles between Houston and Dallas. That being said, the car is incredible and I've had it for about a month and it never gets old hat to drive. It's a welcome drive. I still have my 06 VW Passat and that's a good driver too, but the Merc is quite simply superlative in every way. It's a diesel, but isn't sooty, noisy, nor smelly. It's impressively quick and yet delivers fantastic fuel economy! I've never known another vehicle that pulled off a "no compromise" feat that doesn't seem to trade off any on function for the sake of another. I need to have the car serviced soon and I suppose the best thing to do is let them service it with the oil they would normally use and so forth. Is there some other premium oil that is actually better? Also, I was wondering about a chip mod called "Bully Dog". The car's plenty powerful as it is, but I was just wondering how much of a difference the E320 CDI is before and after such a mod. Does anyone have any experience with that?

Thanks! -SteveBork
