Has anyone had an experience with this code? It's for the left rear wheel speed sensor. I'm curious as to what fixed it. The sensor itself, or if the reluctor wheel on the axle has done it. Also, the wheel on the left rear is bouncing like a basketball and has a lot of noise. Looks like the wheel is bent. Possibly curbed or pothole damage? Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Welcome aboard.

Please click user cp and edit details to add your VEHICLE and LOCATION to your profile, that's useful information when you're seeking assistance.

There are also forums for specific cars, which is where you can usually get the best focused information for an issue. The general forum ... kind of a hodgepodged mess.

Generally speaking...since you're in the general forum...cleaning the inner edge of the hub (where the sensor is reading) often takes care of such issues, since the grooves fill up with all manner of gunk. Not just on MB, but many cars.

Good luck.

I added the information into my profile. I actually own my own shop in north Ga, but there's never been a demand for any MB work. Most of my customers are GM, Ford, you get the picture... If this were a customers car, I'd have passed it off, but it's our car so have to go through the motions and fix it. I'll check the ring when I get there tomorrow. I've seen crown vics do that as well.
