DON'T DO THIS!

I changed the rotors and pads on a ML320 a while ago and look at these rotors. I can not believe how much some people neglect their cars and then complain about them. See you have to love your car and it will love you back or abuse it and it will abuse your pocket.

Perhaps a testament to automotive engineers that a vehicle the size and weight of an ML still stopped.

The crazy part is that the rotors are visible with the wheels on so they should have noticed this well before now!

BTW have similar photo of rotors on Ford truck.
In the truck configuration the clearance allowed the pads to slide out, the piston to come completely off and all the brake fluid loss.
You picture the consequences.
