560 SEC left speakers out (NOT fader switch)

Hey, I'm a newbie with a question. I searched the archive without any luck. My '90 SEC was having problems with the left stereo channels. Everyone told me it was the fader switch in the center console -- a common problem.

So I ordered a new fader switch. Just installed it. Same problem, no sound on left side. (Thanks to this forum, I knew how to replace it.)

Is it possible an amp somewhere is losing its left channel? Sometimes when you drive the car for the first time each day, the left channel will play for a few minutes and then go out.

I'm sure it isn't the radio. This problem was present before and after the Kenwood radio in the car was replaced with another Kenwood.

Thanks for your help.

Check the amps behind the back seat.

There are two amps behind the seatbacks (one on each side), try swapping them
