Unhappy Aftermarket Alloy wheels for W126

Hi All,
I have just registered today hopping somebody will give me the answer i so desperately need.
Here we go i really need to change my W126 wheels and fit aftermarket Alloys e.g. BK racing,Ripspeed,Worfracing,Dotz & etc.
I went to my local Alloy Wheels Shop and the bloke there said the BK 333 which i didnt mind to fit on my car as they where a sort of thing i was looking for (5 spoke Black Polished face) but....but i will need Spacers which will cost me £150 each on top of the wheels and tyres. He also spoke a few technical words..well to me that i had no clue to (Offset,PCD even Spacers) Currently my car has Mercedes W210 e class 8 hole alloy wheels on (i think), from what he said i take it the spacers are between the wheel and the Hub But i had changed Brakes on this car myself and i didn't see any thing else when i took the wheel out apart from just the wheel, please bare with i might be confusing you as well. But if i have the 8 hole alloys from a different car (from a younger model Benz)why wouldn't i fit any fancy Aftermarket Alloy Wheels?
And also why do i need the so called spacers that are almost the same price as the Alloy wheel?
Please me on this as when i asked the bloke at the Alloy wheels shop he wasn't so helpful (one of them you're asking too many quastions mate, get your money out and put it where your mouth is sort of thing) thats how i felt to be honest.
I know there's some posts here about W126 Alloy wheels but they dont talk about Aftermarket Alloys.
All you views on this topic will be highly appreciated. I am so so so...

Eric

How do i check my cars central locking? I can only open using keys on both drivers and passngers doors. But when am un locking or locking the car the rear door locking pins sort of moves slightly but doens't work unless i let my self in and then open the door hanles from inside. Any ideas what to look for and how to do it without spending a fortune?
