I was looking for engine oil that fits MB 229.3/229.31 229.5/229.51 for my E200 Kompressor and I found something interesting:

Yup,seen it.For reasons of availability and price I've stocked up with about 1.5 years' worth of Mobil 1 ESP and Fuchs 229.51 spec oils

Mobil 1 is also famous for generating high iron.
I am testing Rotella synthetic in my Ford diesel and with good results I will use it in our Mercedes diesels.
The M1 ESP had so-so test results.
