try to get some ideal on price negotiating

Hello all, this is Rick from So cal, is anyone has exp on negotiating price on the used Benz? i plan to get a 08 E350 within these few months, i am bad in negotiating, my question is if they list the E350 as $350k, how much your guys think that i can get it for? for so cal owner which dealer ship is better around Arcadia? tks

Try offering 10% below what they are asking and see what they say.

Looks like $35K less 10% would still be high.

I was shooting from the hip but thanks for the link. Looks like $30,800 depending on the zip code there.

Salesmen will focus on monthly payments. The better salesmen are pretty good at getting the customer to an "affordable" level and gettting the customer to sign on a higher interest rate, longer loan, etc etc. It's pretty much best to break out the pencil and paper and write the different possibilites while talking to the salesman. Dealers can only go down so far so your best off finding one of the cheapest on autotrader first and working from there. The point of negotiating is for both sides to come out better so don't go in and try to bust his balls so he can't make anything. Kind of a choppy paragraph but it's got my main points.
