C Class Black Piano laquer trim

Hello guys!!

I am new to this site actually.

I got 2008 model C class 200 classic (Cubenite silver outside, black leather inside). The car comes with black trim of piano laquer. Since I didnt bought this car new (I both as a sertified used) i dont know if those trims are really WOOD? or might be PLASTIC?

To say the truth, I dont think plastic is a prop. trim for a merc, but still I am confused since i heared that it might be neither plastic nor wood...

p/s the ofiicial brochure say no word about it ...just mention "fine black piano laquer trim"....

Can sombody might solve my question?

Thank you so much in advance.

since it uses the term 'laquer', it would most likely be over a thin wood venier. All the woods are very very thin in all modern MB, over a plastic or plastic/alum frame.
